Model A carb and manifolds.

Post by Jeepbone1 » Tue Dec 15, 2020 7:14 pm

Ok so I’ve decided to run a model a manifold setup and carb on my TT. The manifold kit is on its way and I have a Model A Marvel carb ready to rebuild. My block is the later 27 with no hole between cylinders 2 and 3. I would like to set it up to run the throttle off of the column rod so I’m just wondering what others have done to rig something up. My google searches have all but come up with nothing.

Here is a photo of what I did to use the over the top linkage on a Winfield Carb. My engine was originally a Vaporizer. When I bought the car it had a Model A Zenith using this setup that I modified for the Winfield. For the Zenith choke a couple of 1/4" drive universals were braised into the choke/adjuster rod.
