and a Christmas story I love watching both due to the car content, was wondering if the car George Bailey drives and eventually runs into the tree is a Model T. Any input would be great.

It's not a T. I believe it's a Chevrolet baby grand touring. Someone more knowledgeable may chime in

It has been quite a few years since I have seen that movie. The car that I remember from the movie, It's a wonderful life, the car that hits the tree in the snow, is a late teens to early 1920's Dodge touring car I believe.
The 1917-18-19 Cheverolet's Model D 8cy and the large 4cy look similar. I remember the car as having the Dodge type headlights which are different from the Chevy's.

The connection between Its a Wonderful Life and the Model T Ford is much stronger than most people think. It’s a Wonderful Life is based upon the story “The Greatest Gift” by Phillip Van Doreen Stern, who was also the author of “Tin Lizzie: The Story of the Fabulous Model T Ford”.

Respectfully Submitted,
