Windshield stay rod clamp bolts

Post by Tbird » Sat Jan 30, 2021 7:31 pm

I need to know what bolts and nuts need to be used for the windshield stay rod clamps for a 12.
These are the clamps that bolt to the frame near the radiator.

Thanks

Doesn't that bolt also retain the fender iron, Mike ?

that little white cap on the end of the rod looks nice, but if the clamp holding the rod allows the rod to slip, the windshield will be in your lap. Best to drill a small hole thru the rod and put a brass cotter pin through the rod. That will limit the travel of the rod.
