Post by dmdeaton » Thu Feb 04, 2021 10:24 pm

What does the wood frame look like and how is it attached to the back springs?

Bump today
I have the wood pieces and a Snyder’s spring. Any pics would be appreciated of these wood sticks fastened together.
Thanks

Danny, there are threads on this subject with pics. Someone will know how to find them or post the info you need. Mine is just springs padding and vinyl laying in place or I could help.

Jim
That’s perfect, thanks. Tack together like a pallet and bolt to the rear sheet metal. Now how does the spring attach to the wood frame?

Expand the photo and note remnants of heavy canvas tacked to the upper wood rail, those pieces were looped around the spring frame.

Adjust the loop length to hang spring in position, do the seat base first so the backrest spring and backrest upholstery clears the seat so it can be removed.
