Top saddles
When installing the top saddles onto the mounting arms on 26/27 touring, which direction do the set screws face, front or rear of car?

Re: Top saddles
Leave the set screws loose so you can adjust to fit the top bows when it is setting in them properly, then tighten the set screws. Should be down. Ok just went and looked, I thought the bolts were on the bottom, my bad!

Re: Top saddles
I have always seen them to the rear. Logic and safety would support that. They could snag passing branches etc.
When did I do that?
