Wood firewall fitting for Speedster.

Post by ivaldes1 » Mon Mar 08, 2021 11:41 am

Lang's has 5 different types of wood firewalls. Hay wagon to speedster project is a 1925-26 frame with a 1915-16 themed upper style. But I would like it to have a starter for convenience and fiance's hair demands a full square window. So which one? This one maybe? If you have a 1915-16 style hood former, any firewall to suit that will do. As far as I know, the only difference in a starter type firewall is the second slot for the in cabin choke pull.

A full width windscreen can be mounted on woodwork mounted behind the firewall. It can be any shape you want it to suit whatever size screen you decide upon.
Hope this helps.
