This is a good illustration of why Model T paint jobs lost their nice shiny patina from the factory! Nice photo.

That photo captures the danger in a desolate spot. Conquering the fear by "making it through" was it's own reward.
These are from 16mm of the old racing days. (1970s)

Some trips had more than their share of MUD. The Model Ts handled it well.

Rich E., that was true then, and now its the same in some places but without the mud. I remember a solo trip out west through Monument Valley on my way to my parents in AZ, only car there for miles, just hoping it wouldn't break down. Solitude tends to make the mind run wild with crazy thoughts. Probly watched too many murder movies before the trip! :lol:

Yes! Or at the top of the hill on the first row in the green field! My brother's and I used to sit at our spots in lawn chairs and watch Ts and everything else try to conquer that hill in the mud!
