Help Identifying These Doors

Post by DontKnowMuch » Mon May 31, 2021 12:03 pm

How do I identify what body style these doors fit? The pictures are not great but I can post close up pictures if that will help identify what they fit.

I can take measurements on my next trip to the storage building.
Thanks

Looks like front doors for a 26/27 Fordor Sedan.

It looks like '24-'25 T Coupe or '25-27 T Fordor to me.

It looks like '24-'25 T Coupe or '25-27 T Fordor to me. Here are two great discussions of them.

Too short for a coupe(?) Red paint... I wonder if they are off a taxi.

Yes, '25 too! Thanks!

I believe, perhaps incorrectly, that the earlier versions of these doors had wood framing in them, while the later 26/27 were mostly steel.

The wooden door frames were used up to late 24. I have a late 24 Coupe that has wooden door frames. Sometime in late 24 the metal frame doors appeared and it was that way through 27. It seems like most everything Ford did was to use up parts that would fit and then start with the next upgrade for the next year. After all the parts would usually interchange.
My car is one of what’s called a crossover. It has 24 and 25 features on it but you really have to know what to look for because they looked pretty much alike.
