I was told last week by a fellow who lives near Charlie's place, that his son was taking charge of his collection. Allen Brintnall

Charlie S had a bunch of project Overland cars, as well as the Russel Knight he was putting together. I also wonder about his 1910 model T project. I know he wanted a bit for it, but it had so many really right and good rare parts that I think someone wanting to restore a 1910 should have seriously considered it. No way I could even consider it, but if I had the money?
I miss his comments on the forum.

I am getting the 1910 T for considering less than Charlie was asking, picking it up at Hershey time. Any one interested in the others contact Mark at Motel T Haven.

Charlie had vintage Indian motorcycles and parts. I spoke to him regarding buying some basket cases he had.

Dale K, I am pleased to hear that! I would be curious what you are paying for it, although you are under no obligation to tell me or anybody else (and I will not pressure for it either). I think it would be a wonderful thing if Charlie's dream could be fulfilled (at least for that one car).
I never got to really meet Charlie in person. However, he and I traded a few emails and comments on the forums. I grew to like and admire him.

Stan had a Stromberg OF of mine that he sold to me and was troubleshooting. I never could get it working right.
