Logan Miller ( Ford Employee 1914 - 1953 )

Post by John Page » Mon Dec 27, 2021 3:01 pm

Hello,
It has been a while since I have posted here.
I am at present doing some research on Logan Miller.
I have searched every Ford book I have as well as the internet and have not been able to find a photo of the man.
I have also looked through hundreds of photos on the Web Site of The Benson Ford Research Centre's Web Site.
He joined the Ford workforce at Highland Park in 1914 as a Lathe Hand and soon progressed to positions of authority with the company.
In 1941 he held the position of Assistant General Manager at the Willow Run Bomber Plant. This was under Charles Sorensen.
If anyone can assist I would be most grateful.

Best regards, John Page

If he worked that close with mr. Sørensen, there may exist photos of those two in the Bedson Ford Archives in the records of mr. Sørensen.

Thanks for your reply Michael.
I have looked through a lot of the Willow Run images on the Benson Ford site and apart from a few with Sorensen, there are none that give me any lead on Logan Miller. Sorensen is with other dignitaries and the like and they are named.
I appreciate your advise Michael.

Best regards, John Page.

In the Ford Company archives, (not connected with the Benson or ford Museum, They have on files original employment records. These are file card size with normal employment information. Not sure if they will help you but its worth a try. when I toured the archives several years ago I was told about these records and in fact actually held one in my hand,
