Tim..... Henry Ford supplied Edison industries with large quantity of Model T trucks and cars.... A 1922 Model T touring car is on display at Edison's estate Glenmont Garage in West Orange New Jersey and has many additions that the average Model T did not have until the end of production. ..... 20" wheels and tires, ( not 21") mountain gearing in the "improved" rear axle, large rear emergency brakes, vacuum windshield wiper for example. Henry Ford and Thomas A. Edison agreed and differed on multiple issues but stayed loyal in friendship.

Thomas Edison was gifted by Henry Ford with Number One Model A Ford in 1927... And Henry had the body changed to a four-door Phaeton, a change requested by Thomas Edison since he liked to ride in an open car. ..... I believe this car is in the Henry Ford museum .

That is a beautiful radiator cap, Tim. I have seen the Henry Ford one but never Thomas Edison.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGxREo_L0zU YouTube video of #1 ModelA Ford. At the end, please note change in body style on #1 chassis, going as a gift to Thomas A. Edison.
