Unusual! Many Californians are moving out of California!
I hope you will change your mind and post some more. I realize, you might not have any more left, but you could start again.

I've not seen a photo of the Ten Millionth Ford taken from the rear! Great shot! I wonder if that car exists? What I really enjoy about photos like that is the correct placement of the two rear windows. So many restorers get it wrong, and there is no excuse for that!

Since we're on the road here, I'll add one of my favorite T era photos.
1921, somewhere out west. The wide town street is quite a contrast with the highway between towns.

Steve,
The names for the areas of the United States are not correct! That might have been "Out West" when it was named, but all that flat area to me is the middle and areas such as Chicago would be East or mid East. To me the West is west of the Rocky Mountains! Areas such as Colorado or Utah would be mid West!

Kansas has always been "west". There is that old song (I have a record of it) "way Out West in Kansas". The Dakotas are "west", as are Wyoming and colorado. Texas is west also. MinnesotIowa Missouri are "midwest" The dividing line between midwest and west is not a striaght ine.

Everyone has their own interpretation of the Geographical parts of the United States relative to their location and compass point image. Having said that their is an accepted definition for the Geographical Areas.
There are countless ways to divide the US on cultural, geographical, and even racial lines. There are so many ways, in fact, that different government agencies all seem to have different ways of doing it. Which makes sense for their intended purpose.

In the mid-50's, we lived on Cape Cod, in Massachusetts. The locals there thought "out West" started somewhere in Conneticut. Some adults had never been across the Bourne Bridge, which separated the Cape from the mainland ,,,,, and proud of it !

I wish all the immigrants to California would go back where they came from. It would be much less overcrowded here.Norman Kling wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 10:55 amUnusual! Many Californians are moving out of California!

I am not an immigrant to California! My grandparents came to Los Angeles before 1900. In fact they built stations on the old Pacific Electric Railroad and other buildings which are still standing over 100 years from construction.
My father was born in Los Angeles and I was born there too. Later I moved to San Diego County and have lived in this county 64 years. Our children were born in San Diego. I also welcome Model T people here. Tom and family are welcome. Hope you can afford the cost of living here.

Re: This will be my last picture post because I am
If all the immigrants left the state would be empty.
the first to arrive would be now up in Alaska waiting for the land bridge to china to reappear.
I was born 83 + years ago in Eagle Rock California. I have a picture of me in a wagon with sage brush in the back ground.
We moved to Riverside California during the war and my dad worked at March Field. spent three years in the Navy and then lived
In Pomona, Ridgecrest, Lancaster and back to Riverside while working for IBM. After retirement we moved to a Farm in Missouri.
and now as old age is creeping up on me we are living on four acres in the Arizona desert.
I would love to live on the coast in California, I have two brothers there, but its out of my price range.
Arizona is nice in the winter but miserable in the summer.

I'm one of Tom's fans. His photos are the best! I wonder if any of those pictures could be of the Lincoln Highway?
