Vintage Ford Article on early tools.

Post by Original Smith » Mon Mar 28, 2022 11:01 am

Many years ago, I wrote an article with photos of tools I have that were used in 1913. I can't remember what year that article was, or the issue of the Vintage Ford. I think Bruce McCalley was still editor then. Can anyone help me identify this for me?

About once a decade, the Vintage Ford publish a list of articles that were in it. You might check there.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

Looks like The caption under a picture of this wrench in the 1998 "Vintage Ford" article by Larry Smith entitled "The Ford Tools of 1912 and 1913" stares:
The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

The article appeared in Vol. 33, #3, on page #36, in year, May/June 1998. Very nice article, if you are looking for a information on early tools. Well done, Larry.
