Has Anyone Used This??

In Macs catalog, I notice an item called "Body to Frame Welt Rolls". It says it is prevents squeaking. Has anyone used it? Is it a good idea or not?

Squeeks on a Model T are the least of an owner's problems

It was never used on a Model T and it's inclusion on your car would be a personal choice (which may bring as many issues to the table as hoped-for improvements)

MAC's is a great source for 2 things: parts priced at 20% over all other dealers, and dubious advice.

Yes. I tried it on my my ‘26 coupe in 1972 when I was assembling it and it does not stay put. It’s okay for Model A’s but Model T’s were not designed to use welting. Joints are not tight enough to hold it, so don’t waste your money. Jim Patrick
