San Francisco 1906 Video
Remastered and colorized, it is interesting with how many automobiles were in existence in 1906: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sHkc83XA2dY

Re: San Francisco 1906 Video
Ignacio,
Thank you for posting this amazing video. I was so interested I watched it twice. During the second viewing I noticed several cars passing by then turning to the left only to see them reappear several times later. INTERESTING!!! I guess the cooperation among all vehicle and cart drivers as well as pedestrians demonstrates it would some time before the term road rage would appears.
Happy Easter to all,
Dom

Seen this one before, but there's some oddities to it that makes me wonder if there isn't a whole lot of "digital additions" to it, in the way of the pedestrians, and License #4867 makes two "cut-ins" to the camera within the first minute and a half! I doubt he went around the block that fast!!
Some people seem to be "floating" over the pavement too. It's cool, but a lot of fake going on

Re: San Francisco 1906 Video
The way people would stop and look at the camera I wonder if the trolly had a sign on the front of it informing them that they were filming or if the cameraman was out in front of the trolly on a platform and could see him.
I enjoyed the color version but what is more amazing is the fact that not one person was staring down at their smart phone!

I like the colorization, but I think the sound effects are better in a previous version. A highlight is still the guy with his beard blowing in the wind, a half century before the notorious "Candlewind" Park.
The inevitable often happens.
