What parts of a 1926-27 T are marked Canadian?

Post by Matt in California » Tue Apr 19, 2022 1:45 pm

I recently acquired a Canadian chassis for parts. Thus far I have found the front axel, engine block, head and transmission hogs head. I am passing on some of the Made in Canada parts to a fellow member.

What parts have Canadian markings?

Thanks!

Matt

How about rear axle?

Was every part made in Canada? And just some are clearly marked?

Kelsey wheel felloes and rims will also be stamped Windsor Ont. The list goes on. The reason was to facilitate exports to British Empire countries. Canada being part of the empire meant that these cars when imported into Australia, New Zealand etc did so at favourable rates of duty. Ford, Canada was set up for precisely this purpose.
