Doing some overdue by a few decades cleanup.
Found the black side Kero lamps that came with a car years ago. My qustion…
One lamp has round innards and a vented chimney….the other has the squarish innards…
What are they for? I think the round is older?
Side lamp question.

Re: Side lamp question.
Believe this sketch has been reviewed and should be correct for the parts of those side lamps to date them.

Re: Side lamp question.
George, if it's any help, the round innards are usually brass, and i believe they were nickel plated over the mill finish, so not polished.

Re: Side lamp question.
Dan, that one didn't go through a correction cycle because it wasn't necessary, I drew it from one off my car which had the squarish inside and I foolishly thought they were all that way, until Steve Jelf informed me as to the round interior of the 1915-16's. Also that the chimney and font's were different too.
I've been thinking of taking the Snyder's part numbers off because at the time of this drawing I was only doing them for myself, so I wanted part numbers from at least 2 vendors, but now I only deal with Lang's. I've also been looking for the factory numbers for the parts too, probably going to have to get the drawings (or at least as many of them as I can find) and get them from there for both the Side Lights and the Tail Light.

Re: Side lamp question.
Thanks for the drawings Martin.
It's been quite a while since we last talked about your top installation.
I've recently retired and move just up the peninsula from Victoria, B.C. to Sidney B.C.
My wife, daughter and I are heading down to California this week to go to Disneyland.
