My article in the Times
Hello, all. I've checked in from time to time with questions about my '23 Touring. So far all the various issues (that I know of), have been ironed out. It's a reliable car and I drive it as much as possible. It brings great joy to everyone who can't help but notice that a nearly 100 yr old car has arrived on the scene. Thanks to everyone here and also the members of my club in Maryland for their help. The current issue of the times published an article that gives a brief rundown of my quest for a Model T. For those of you who read the magazine, it's on page 42. Happy motoring and thanks again for all your support. Gerrit

Robert,
Are you sure you don't receive the Model T Times? As a lifetime member that should be part of the deal. At least I would hope so. They don't make it available to link online to their articles or anything in the magazine, but I could experiment and see if I can produce some crude reproduction photographically. Thanks for your interest.

"The Model T Times" is a publication of the Model T Ford Club International. Robert's Lifetime Memebership is with the Model T Ford Club of America, which publishes the magazine "Vintage Ford".5 WoodenWheels wrote: ↑Sun Jul 24, 2022 6:43 pmRobert,

Ok, thanks for clearing that up. And just when I thought I was getting a handle on all this.
I did try to post photos of the article but they are not uploading. 4.2MB too big?

Really Nice article Gerrit, looks like the top had to come down to get it in that trailer! It is really helpful when you have club members available to lend a hand and some advice! Nice looking touring and be careful because it looks like there is more space in your garage.. You know how rabbits multiply!!

Re: My article in the Times
Thanks, Gene. Yes, now that you mention it, we did have to lower the top a bit to get it in the trailer. Erik's touring has a top with a considerably lower profile so it's not an issue for him. I do have room for another car or project but the '23 Touring will keep me plenty busy both driving it and keeping it on the road. It satisfies that urge to tinker along with a desire to actually drive it. It's a good car for that. Thanks again for your comments, Gerrit
