Picture #7 from the top:
"You'll have to drive yourself to school Suzie. The rest of the family has covid and the newspaper said we're locked down and can't leave the house."

Re: Since Covid has come to our house
Once again, an excellent selection of era Ford photos. Thanks Tom but I’m sorry you and yours are caught up in this pandemic. Glad to see a picture of a real ‘15 centerdoor. I believe the body panel aft of the doors and below the ‘belt line’ was one piece this year. Many brassie centerdoors are around nowadays that started life as an early 20s

Re: Since Covid has come to our house
The last picture is the most curious to me. I can’t tell for sure but is the one boy holding a bowl over the head of the other boy? Possibly these boys had bowl haircuts or can anyone else have an idea what was going on. Maybe their heads were shaved?? Interesting photo after all these years!

Whenever I see great old photos like these I wonder if any of the T’s in them are the ones I am working on and driving today….

Re: Since Covid has come to our house
There are 3 "boys" who have bald heads! Either have a family problem with the hair, or they are older than they look and a bit short. Some diseases can also cause baldness. I suspect it was a special look . The boy with the cast on his arm does not look old enough to be bald. It would be interesting to find out just what was going on.

Re: Since Covid has come to our house
The bald kids may have some kind of infestation, like head lice or ringworm. Or maybe they're about to take part in a school play based on of those Pearl S. Buck stories.

Re: Since Covid has come to our house
Hey Tom R, Sad to hear you and family have joined the legions. Hopefully, it will be mild for you and yours?
Our oldest just came down with it about two weeks ago. He is out of state, so we haven't been exposed yet (as far as we know?). So far he has had a relatively mild bout with it, and is already doing much better. He said he had one day with it that was really rough.
Feel better soon!

Re: Since Covid has come to our house
For those interested in the correct shape of the sides of a '13-14 runabout top, it is shown nicely in one of the photos above.

Re: Since Covid has come to our house
I love old pics of babies and toddlers with Model Ts. I always think how different the world they were born into was compared to their parents, thanks to that machine they are posing with!
Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Photo #3
Very interesting as it looks like a water flume running along the hillside above the house.
