it's first visit to the gas pump.

Post by tdump » Sat Jul 23, 2022 11:25 am

I took my T pickup to the local cruise in by trailer last night to avoid the major hwy but I drove it around town last night and got some gas. it just looks so tiny sitting there.
Took alot of work to get it from 1 picture to the next! I hope this is the first of many trips to the gas pump

Fantastic. Aren't you glad you took the "Before" picture?
Have fun with it.

The first trip to the gas station is a pretty good feeling, followed by the first trip to the grocery store, then the liquor store!

I bring the gas to my T. The nearest station that sells non-ethanol gas is about 15 miles away on a 50 mph divided non-limited-access heavily travelled road. It's not a fit place for the T. As to grocery store yes, liquor store no (because there is no place to lock the booze up).

Good job Mack Jeffrey Cole. Many is the times I wished I would’ve taken a ‘before’ picture and never did. Pose an ‘after’ pic in approximately the same angle/distance as the ‘before’ then display them together. Then don’t worry about a liquor store - drive it to an ice creme store 😜

Don,if and when I can remember to get my dues in the mail, I hope to maby get a couple of the club members to check over the pickup at 1 of the tech sessions and make sure it is "up to snuff" for a ride with the rest of the group, maby sometime in the fall of the year when it is cooler out..The feel of the low pedal is something I want checked as it has been so long since I drove another T I can't remember how it "feels". I may have wear in the hog head or maby nothing at all wrong.
If and when band material is common again,I want new linings in it to.

I found that pic a while ago. Anybody know the car? How much change do you think is in the loveseat to buy gas? Whatever it is, it ain't going far with today's prices...

Another pic of that T with the loveseat on it can be found here:

I took that pic about 3 years ago at the Iola Swap meet & car show.
