Identification Markings

There seems to be a lot of identification markings all over the model T. What they all mean can be mysterious. Maybe someone will know? Post them if you’ve got them.

while wire brushing my frame down today I found this marking under the scale. I can see the letter M Then maybe a B or R and what might be a C or G. Any ideas? Its on the rear cross member drivers side right at the body mount hole. 1926 frame

Different steel mills roll their I D marks in the product they produce. It may be just one of those.

I can't find previous discussions on this. These are the marks I am familiar with. I know A.O. Smith made frames early for Ford but others did later.

There is a bunch of forging cartouches in the Ford Service Bulletins.

Some of the spring leaves on my 21 T has Carnegie randomly on the leaves. It’s faint but there.

The pennant has MSC in the legend. That stands for Michigan Stamping Company, a supplier of later Ford frames.

The other major frame supplier was Parrish & Bingham, typical marking is P&B in a circle.
