Certain years of Scripps-Booth, Chevrolet, Maxwell, Studebaker and probably dozens of other makes had similar stanchions with a 2-hole mounting at the bottom and the rod at the top. I haven't seen upper rods that long before. Perhaps a different year of those mentioned would have that.
This is a good place for them to be seen. AACA and other sites might find a clue.
I hope someone will recognize them for you.
I will look some more.

Might not be easy to nail down what they are actually for. It’s amazing how many old car brands were produced up to the mid 30’s. Use to be a guy that would bring a trailer load of orphan parts to Chickasha years ago. All kinds of stuff.
He sold a few things but some no one could identify. Maybe someone who needs the windshield stanchions can Identify them. Good luck.
