It's so easy

Post by NY John T » Wed Aug 24, 2022 10:19 am

I just finished putting new Kevlar band linings on the T. I had taken off the hogshead with the help of my buddy Bob. It came off relatively easy. So yesterday he came over to help me replace the hogshead. We struggled for about 30-45 minutes with no luck. Then I remembered the "bible" saying to put a block of wood under the front and a light bulb went off: put the back end on first! When we did that, the hogshead went on with no problems. For anybody about to replace the hogshead, it REALLY helps when you put the rear end in first. I'm still learning..... It's so easy.
