Wanted Stewart accessory wire wheel bits.
Wanted Stewart accessory wire wheel bits. I know very rare and hard to come by. Needing 2 wheel centres, front hubs and 3 caps. You never know if you do not ask. Needing these to complete my set.

Nice lookin wheels! I haven’t seen a Stewart wheel before… and don’t recall seeing any original ads either. Might you be willing to start a general discussion thread about the wheels? Would be nice to document how the drive mechanism and hub nut locks work…

Re: Wanted Stewart accessory wire wheel bits.
I have two complete sets of Stewart wire wheels/tires. They are very hard to find. I've been looking for extra locking hub caps for years and haven't found anything. One set of wheels has brass non original locking hub caps that I'm trying to upgrade or replace. I plan to use these wheels on two of my cars that currently have wood wheels. So I'm not interested in selling them now. However I might be able to help you to provide details/pictures or data for any parts you need. These wheels were very expensive in the old days and apparently they are still very expensive. Good luck in finding the missing parts you need.
