Wheel Alignment on a 1915 Touring

Post by Model T Ron » Wed Dec 28, 2022 10:58 pm

I have aligned my Model A's but have never attempted to do this on my 1915 T. Can anyone share the proper method and the amount of tow in we need on the early T's?

Thanks
Ron

Thank you. The method is very similar to the Model A and I like the information on making a tool.

Steve's tool is very elegant, but a tape measure works fine if you have a friend to help.
Check that neither front wheel has significant sideways run-out before you start.

This is the best method, (in my opinion). Notice that the dimensions are taken with the front wheels back on the ground. I would even roll the car ahead a few feet before measuring.
