Hi Mike or anyone else,
Please educate me. What year/years would this style tail light be proper for? Thanks a bunch for your reply!
Kind Regards,
Rick Rice

Mike,
Hopefully 1914 fits the bill. My 1914 already has the E&J side lamps that match your tail light, but I wasn't sure if my existing two lamps were correct for a 1914??
That said and if someone more knowledgeable than me can confirm your tail light is correct for 1914..., I will take it Brother! One of you guys "in the know" please jump in here. Thanks in advance for your support!
Kind Regards,
Rick Rice

I'm no expert by far, but my thinking was E&J 32 would be the sidelights for the 12 taillight

Other than maybe the model number and I think mine have a 1908 patent date, the rest of the lamp body, door, hinges and bottom fonts on my side lamps are identical. My two side lamps do not have the brass fonts with the two tightening levers that I have seen on quite a few 1914's.
I just figured Henry might have used two different styles of lamps in 1914?? Someone will educate us.

This is a very interesting lamp. Aside from the chimney that has the E&J logo it is identical to my CLASCO tail and side lamps right down to the painted fonts. I’d post a photo but that never works for me.
Mine are going on my late Canadian’13 this spring right or wrong. The lamps that were on the car were the typical ‘13-‘14 E&J brass and steel lamps with brass fonts. I don’t know for sure but suspect E&J tooled lamps were used for the CLASCO lamp series for Canadian builds which is why they are so similar.
My Canadian car has the CLASCO headlamps which are identical to E&J’s too except for the chimneys which had a large Ford script.

From the Encyclopedia page 552; E&J Model 12 Tail Lamp-1913 and 1914 Model Ts. I have one and it sits proudly on the rear of my 14.
