1915 Speedster for Sale
We built the 1915 speedster in 1992, hence the “92” number for my daughter and son in law. It’s been a great little car, won both the San Diego and Arizona Speedster run several times of over the years. It’s last major run was the 2018 Model T reunion in Richmond where it ran flawlessly over the five day event.

The engine has all the mods to make it reasonably fast yet retain the Model T legendary reliability. This include a SCAT crank, stainless Chevy valves , hardened valve seats, kevlar band, Texas T external oiler, kevlar bands on demountable bands, Bosch distributor, Prus Cylinder head, oil level dip stick, Texas T water pump and a Stromberg OF carb tuned by Stan Howe.

The body and chassis are fairly standard T fare except we added double wishbones at the front, Ruckstell rear axle with left hand shifter, Rocky Mountain brakes, spare wheel, friction shock absorbers on all four wheels and big box to house all junk that my daughter feels is necessary for four hour event. The steering has 26-7 5:1 gears mounted inside an early brass enclosure. Instrumentation consists of a 30-0-30 ammeter and a Buzz Pound tachometer. This tachometer was set up for a regular T motor but due the many enhancements the engine will spin to over 2000 rpm so it not too accurate at higher engine speeds. On one unforgettable occasion it was timed at over 50mph (2100rpm) but I recognize such speeds are somewhat dangerous with only rear wheel brakes.

The body is mainly wood with original fenders, running boards and splash aprons. It has a full size Model T windscreen set at a rakish angle.
Delivery may be possible for expenses.
Asking $7500 obo
