Model t vs. Model Y

Post by mcenhillk » Sat Jan 21, 2023 3:06 pm

I've been watching the SuperfastMatt channel for a while as he builds a landspeed car, convert's a '50s Jag to a Tesla drive train, and puts a motorcycle engine in a Honda S200. Today's video is comparing the Ford Model T to the Tesla Model Y. It's a fun 17m video folks here might find interesting.

Ford produced he model Y from 1932 -37 in Europe. Dandy looking small cars, like scaled down US models of the era. These were not produced in anything like the model T numbers, but were no doubt superior performers. It's taken Tesla a while to catch on.

The video was good. Though comparisons like these make me feel I’ll. I would like to be a fly on the wall 100 years from now watching forum members on the MYTCA debate over a NOS computer screens verses a repop  or trying to find a original battery or proprietary software program.
