The black paperback is the most common but it is a reproduction. The original, sold by Ford was a hardback with a dark blue cover. If the reproduction is "the Bible", the the originals are"the Holy Grail".

I have an original blue cloth covered hardcover edition and the photo illustrations are very clear and much easier to see compared to the reproductions, but since it is in mint condition, I have it vacuum sealed in plastic to preserve it. I had 2, but I sold one last year. Jim Patrick

I also have the late 1925 original with information on the 1926 cars. The pictures are much better.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

I picked up an original hardcover version last year at Chickasha. I agree that the pictures are a lot clearer than the reproductions, and is worth getting if you find one at a reasonable price. I use mine for "indoor reading" and have one of the larger print repros in the garage when I'm working on our T's.

There are copies of period documentation from 1909 -1927 Owner, Service manuals, part lists Us Canadian etc by year etc on this site
https://www.cimorelli.com/mtdl/default.htm
look at t.png
You can download any of these to your computer. Page viewing speed is a function of your computer's speed
Here are the link to the two versions of the service manuals they have - you can save these on you computer they are indexed as well so its easy to get to what you want to see. They are full copies lots of pages, pictures and well indexed
I created an example below to show where you can click on to open the document for viewing and/or saving to you computer. You need to go to this link to do that - not my example

The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.

There is really a Model T Service Bible! I have one. I've only seen one other. It has a leather cover, with gold leaf lettering and the owners name.

Truly a Bible. It reminds me of "Paper Moon"
I can see a guy getting a list of new T owners & showing up @ the farm with the man's name in gold leaf.
