Model A Glass Sediment Bowl on '26 T?
Anyone ever try a model A style glass sediment bowl on a '26-'27? Just curious.....

Where the fuel line is fitted is straight thread not tapered pipe thread at the inlet end and 1/2 20 Ford thread at the other.
I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

My '27 has a tractor-type screened glass bowl located where the original style sediment bulb is supposed to be. It works very well.

I use a glass sediment bowl. Not a Model A type, but for a John Deere tractor (part no. AM3100T). It's been there for 20 years and never given any trouble.

An old time glass bowl filter is not likely to give you any trouble, but isn't it just a repetition of the sediment bulb? I don't think it adds any extra protection.

Same function, assuming the screen is the same size mesh. But you can see debris. Obvious non- originality.

You can get the glass bowl filters with both side & top inlets. I have a top inlet on my firetruck. Most have a shutoff valve on them & can be
purchased @ NAPA, Tractor Supply and suppliers like Steiner Tractor.
