Brass Speedometer and Tachometer
Here are a pair of brass instruments that would be great for a speedster. These are REPRODUCTION electronic instruments made to appear as an original speedometer and tachometer. The speedometer and tachometer both operate electronically. I don't know who made these instruments but they are very well done. They have a heavy brass case with the electronic units inside, silver dial faces, beveled glass lenses and brass mounting brackets. I don't know how to connect them to make them work. $550 plus $18 for shipping for the two instruments.

WOW, these are really neat, I'd buy them in minute if anyone has a clue as to who made them and what it take to provide the signal to make them function.

Re: Brass Speedometer and Tachometer
Just a guess but Stewart Warner might be able to tell you if they made them and or if they can still supply the internals and connectors. They have a website. They used to make sever product lines for classic and vintage cars. I think they called the different product lines names like Nostalgic, Vintage, Marine (brass cases) and on and on. But now not so much. But still make retro tachs and speedos with modern chips and guts. If the guts in these don't work, I would strongly suspect Stweard could sell you new inards if they still make the same sized cases, and you could save these face plates and brass housings. These are very cool.
