I am looking to purchase a Model T Ford monkey wrench without the square plug on the end of the handle for my August 1922 model T.
I see quite a varieties of these wrenches.
Some only have FORD displayed while others have FORD in script followed by USA.
Are these wrenches for Model A rather than the T?
Thanks for any feedback.
Regards.

Re: Model T monkey wrench
Any T tools with "Made in USA" are Model A versions, T tools don't have that.
The Ford script should be on the upper face jaw for that adj. wrench.

Not all provided tools had script.
Auto wrenches & pliers can be found with a M in a circle.
I believe produced by Mossberg.

Re: Model T monkey wrench
Some even have the Ford part number in them. The adjustable wrenches for our Canadian cars were produced by more than one manufacturer, their brand often part of the handle forging. I believe the M in a circle brand is one of them. but not Mossberg. Those aftermarket Mosberg tools I have seen have the M stamped in a laid over diamond.

I was to understand the M in a circle was for Moore Forging.
