Roof Heads Value

Post by MossPointMachine » Fri Apr 28, 2023 6:34 pm

I have a 16 valve Roof, believe it’s a model A with oval exhaust ports and two 8 valve Roofs, one has a single intake port and the other has two intake ports. Would like to know what they may be worth? They have all had some repairs done, the dual intake 8 valve may not be useable. I think the 16 valve and single port 8 valve are useable. Please see photos, thanks

The single port 8 valve is identical to one I have run and I now have on another engine. I quite like it. It is also called a “Laurel Model 40” implying capable of 40 hp
Value, well so condition dependent
If the 8 valve was complete with exhaust manifold, pushrods and rockers I would certainly figure $3500.00
I sold a Good 16 valve for $4500
Incidentally I have a pair of new valve covers for the 16 valve

Where would you get a head gasket for it?
