Spring shackles
I have shackles off of a 15 and I went to several machine shops to get them built up and they said they could not do it . What do you suggest, buy new ones ?

Take a welding and machine shop course at a local junior college, and do them yourself like Steve Jelf did.

Turns out Steve's shackle repair article is in the Vintage Ford magazine, Volume 49, Number 4, page 30.

That is just it ,no one will let me use there machines even though I have the experience so I have to find someone that will do it for me cause I do not have the machines. MEL

Mel, new shackles for a 1915 are available and they are of excellent quality. I seriously doubt anyone woulld build them up and re-machine them for less than the cost of new ones.
The only time I have ever re-built shackles is on the L type with no oilers, as these are not reproduced.

I bought new shackles, front and back, and installed new bushings in them.
I found them to be high quality and would recommend them.
Plus, there are 7 year old girls who weld better than me...so there's that.

If you have the equipment or free access to it, fixing them yourself is worthwhile. If not, it's probably better to bite the financial bullet and pay the $150 for new ones.
