The 8-1/4" lens is flat, without the protruding hood and should fit stock headlight rim
NOT sure if I still an 8-5/8" is likely for the mysterious large headlight bucket. Fitment requires the early headlight rims that have a small clip as opposed to the broader H style. Some T hobbyists may have had the edges ground to fit the later style rims for the H lens. The 8-5/8" rim will not fit a standard rim the inner ridge is wider than it opening. May be for the so call large headlight . This lens has a hooded eye lid.

The early round lenses take a different clip on the inside of the rim than H lenses I have some of those rims as well
