Re: RUB-NIX
A little hard to read on the building but Appears to be a wash powder or something for cleaner whites on wash day.

Rub-Nix Manufacturing Co., Inc., Buffalo, N.Y.: Rub-Nix Products
Rub-Nix was a brand of soap flakes and bluing. Consumers could save the box fronts from these products and trade them in for silverware, aprons, or aluminum pots and pans. Includes pictures of items. On back: directions for family washing, in English, Italian, German, and Polish.

Re: RUB-NIX
Scott, I have been here for a month and I’m exhausted from the constant heat. Painting is difficult enough, but the heat has drained my desire. So today I’m not doing anything all day long. Maybe that will help. Forcast says a break from 100 plus later this week. I sure hope so.

Re: RUB-NIX
Could the slang phrase "nix it" be connected with Rub Nix?
