Anyone have any information on an engine rebuilder W L Kirk san Gabriel CA?

Bill Kirk, he made a few aftermarket parts for T engines. Hop up stuff.
My dad took me to his place when I was putting my first T together.
Some of his stuff was good, some of it, you needed to double check the machine work.

I remember the late Fast Frank posted he wasn’t happy with his Moline boat engines he rebuilt, way out of whack. Said he was a better blacksmith than a machinist. Seems many of the older guys have hit and miss stories about him. Neat engine plaque though.
