Hi, what would be correct thickness for Apr 1912 valve cover plates. Anything to else to look out for.

Not mine but these are on E-bay. The early ones were thicker then later ones, sorry don't have the thickness at hand.

The ones on eBay are typical of the very early .09375” covers used BEFORE June ‘11. They have a relief in the stamping of the “X” inside. They are also about half the going price, but they are a bit rusty...

I have the valve covers that came on my1913 when new, I suspect, at least, they've been on this car since I bought it in 1961, and they are between .095 and .100". The Ford prints don't always confirm what Ford did on the assembly line!
