Hey all,
In need of the spare tire mount for the 26/27 model t pickup. This is the mount that goes in front of the driver door. Attaches to the running board and the convertible top pivot mount. I have heard these are extremely rare to come by.
Anyone have one they are willing to part with?

Someone was making reproduced versions of the original. I understand that they were excellent quality but I don’t know who it was or how to get ahold of the person. I now have a 1926 pickup and if someone knows who was producing the carrier I would also be interested in purchasing. But I don’t want to be ahead of you if they only have one, you get first right of refusal.

I got one a few years ago in a big purchase of 5 cars, all disassembled. I had no idea what it was until another forum member pointed it out. It sold for $750 in "fair" condition within about 20 min of posting it for sale. Grab the one from Craigslist if it's still available!!

Thanks everyone. I did find an original and at a decent price. I was aware of the Craigslist ad. It has been up for a long time. Seems to keep getting reposted.
