Spam Free Photos

Post by J1MGOLDEN » Sat Oct 14, 2023 2:01 pm

Keven Prus has been sending me several photos about every day for several weeks.

Steve Ellis sent me several photos from the same area for several months.

I never opened them, has anyone else accidently opened them?

They are probably only coming from some spammer using an Email address list with both names in them.

The sender's name is often spoofed with another name from the same address list!

I don't think either of them has the "time" to be sending photos. I would consider them spam.

I get that email from several members on this forum and from some not on this forum.
I delete everyone of them.
If anyone here gets a email with photos from me that you didn’t ask for, IT IS NOT ME. Delete it. Dan

I get a fair number of the "photos" spam emails from one "longtime regular" here. The title writing wasn't his style, so I never opened even the first one. Since I had his direct contact and hadn't spoken with him in awhile, I sent him a direct email. He confirmed that it wasn't from him so I sent the spam into the trash.
In the past two years, I have had probably more than fifty of those spam emails, so far only the one name. Sometimes four or more in a week, other times three or four weeks without any.
I have no idea where they are coming from.

Jim. Those ‘photos’ aren’t from Steve. Have gotten them too, but never open. Just click on any name from supposed known contacts and you might find the email address is from another, in this case, the scammer’s email!

I always block these email address so they go to junk.
