Thank you for posting that. Sadly, someone has started another rumor that I don't make kits for the Model T's and A's anymore. The rumor is FALSE. I'm still making them. Nobody needs to panic and call the shop to check. This is the 5th time this year someone has started this rumor. If anyone knows who did it this time, please ask them to stop spreading false information. It makes people panic. Then my phone, email, Facebook, etc blow up day and night. That takes me away from making the kits and causes huge slow down of the production of kits. Thank you.

I'm not sure about this, but this may be caused by someone coming in late from the rain and finding out that Le Baron-Bonney went under.
Trust me, no one was shocked more than me (and from what I've heard, also their employees) that they went under. Thus taking along another well-known vintage auto upholstery manufacturer, Hampton Coach. And subsequently hosing the Chevy-Buick-Pontiac-Olds-Cadillac bunch. Am I allowed to post those brands here?

Keep up the good work, Mike. Looks like you're the sole survivor in the Vintage Auto Upholstery business. I really don't want to dig out my dad's ancient Singer upholstery machine. I know how to use it, but I don't want to.

I suspect there is some alliteration at work. The other “C” upholstery company which also had a fancy name discontinued operations. This probably is adding to the confusion.

In other news, I have to move my grandfather’s Singer treadle he used for shoe repair, out of my barn so my son can store his vintage Ford lawn tractor in there. But before I do that, he needs me to fabricate a new driveshaft since the old one broke and New Holland wants around $500 for a replacement. Then I can slide my ‘24 forward and park my other car for the winter.

And then…..I can resume installing MY Classtique upholstery. I too am glad we have Classtique.
