New video at Model T Camp and Adventures

Post by dobro1956 » Wed Nov 15, 2023 12:13 am

We finally have another video of the T and us at Rendezvous in the Ozarks at Mulberry Mountain in Arkansas. The rendezvous is a gathering of Overlanders, and Vendors of camping gear, and offroad equipment. We set up a display of our 27 touring and our vintage camping gear that we use when we do vintage camping with the T. It gives us a chance to show how the Model T has had a big influence on our modern overlanding that we do today. This is our third event, and the response has been very well received. We had a chance to take out another youtuber and his family for a ride in the T. For some reason we did not get any video of the ride. I have posted a link to their channel in the video description, because they have the video of the ride on their channels video of the Rendezvous. They are a real nice family and have a family friendly channel. If you are wondering what overlanding is about, check them out. They show the family side of overlanding. We are not a monetized channel. We just do it for the fun of it. But if you subscribe, hit the "Like" button, or leave a comment, it helps us stay near the top of the search algorithm, and makes it easier to find us in the millions of videos out there.

Here is the link to the latest video, I think this is #9 for us. We are working on #10 but it takes us old dinosaurs a little while to get things done :)

Great Video! So nice to see the car moving in a location, crossing a bridge, etc., and not just the nose of the car driving on the road. I know it takes much longer to shoot this way, but it is a delight to see. Thanks,
Keep up the good work,
John

John, We try to break up the video into different perspectives as much as we can. We also are trying to be as interesting as we can for people that are not just us old Model T dinosaurs. We have a pretty good following of younger folks with families. You are correct about the extra work. This 24 minute video is made up from 68 separate videos and lots of photos. My wife Kathy is usually the one setting up or chasing the camera since she does not want to drive the car. Without her a lot of the shots are not really feasible to do. Stay tuned. We already have another video in progress with quiet a bit of scenic off road driving and some more old rail road footage from the Missouri and North Arkansas R.R. Thanks for watching
