FS: Monkey Wrenches

Post by George House » Tue Nov 21, 2023 4:56 pm

A monkey wrench is a type of smooth jawed adjustable wrench. I have one of these in all my Ts. It’s perfect for the exhaust manifold pack nut…None are Ford script but all are operable. The first 3 on the left are similar with no markings…Middle wrench states Made in USA 9 AUTO…3rd from right states MOORE DROP FORGING CO. SPFLD. MASS..
Second from right simply 9 AUTO…and far right is for the 2 cycle RR maintenance buggys stating FAIRMOUNT CLEVE. Only $18 each + shipping. gwhouse731(at)gmail(dot)com

BTW, I’ve determined 2 of these adjustable wrenches will fit into a USPS Small flat rate box 😃

We need to quit monkeying around and sell these wrenches!
I dont know if anyonke knows this, but this type of wrench, and the ford script ones are popular among aircraft mechanics, i know because i am in the process of hopefully becoming one, and my boss has one, and most the guys do too!
Just a 20 year old who listens to 40 year old music, works on 75 year old airplanes and drives 100 year old cars.
The past is only simple because hindsight is 20/20.
