Interesting. This design has been used on boat trailers.
Generally not recommended on a passenger car wheel bearing.

Re: FS Hubcap with Zerk fitting
Looks like a nice one. Similar hubcaps were made and sold for model Ts by several companies. Some are rare or unusual enough that finding a match could be difficult, This one looks like one of the more common ones, and having or finding a close match shouldn't be too tough.
Question. Does this one have the manufacturer's information stamped in the ring around the fitting? On the flat outer ring? I have seen several of the aluminum caps over the years that did have that. Also a few without it.
I still have a very nice NOS matched pair of nickel plated brass hubcaps similar to that.
These were made for model Ts and used to add fresh grease to the front bearings back in the days grease didn't last so long in use. They make a nice addition to model T speedsters.

Re: FS Hubcap with Zerk fitting
I do not see any manufacturer name on this. I too thought it would be a good speedster accessory. Thanks guys!

Re: FS Hubcap with Zerk fitting
Wayne, my barn find tourer backboard came with two cast aluminium hubcaps on the front. Neither has a grease fitting. Interestingly, they are two different caps, one much bulkier than the other.
