Thank you sir! I don't try to be stupid on purpose, it just sometimes happens that way. I did have to go look myself ,and guess what they aren't forged end! Thank you, and apologies to the group

Mike, neither are they 17-25 radius rods They are round in section until the back end. 20's rods were flat, with a seam on the under side, which means they are left and right when fitted. I am not sure when your rounded type were replaced by the flattened ones, but if I had to guess I would say late teens.
Someone will know.
