The Secret to Looking Young!

Post by ModelTMitch » Sat Jan 13, 2024 6:38 pm

So it would appear that a Manning River Times photographer was present at the Harrington Festival car show & parade!

The secret to looking young... Stand next to an old car and you'll look 10

I'm often amazed by how popular my Model T is at a car show (might be because it's often the oldest car there)

  Ha ha, my wife already knows that! Back when I had "Pete", my '12 Comm. RPU, just about every time we'd stop at a light or stop sign there'd be a chick or two running up to see the car! I could just feel the tension!!

Tim,
As I recall your 12 pickup, those chicks often asked you
Did you bought it from new.

After weeks of fighting with DMV to get a Title for my 1922 speedster they had it first issued to me in April of 1922 :o When I noticed it I started
to say something then figured it would take 2 more weeks to straighten that out so I kept my mouth shut & left. So according to Arizona DMV I'm
the original owner of a 1922 Ford? My fire truck has had thousands of kids get their picture taken in it, and many ride in it, that does not make
me look younger but does make me feel younger.
Craig.

I know they are chick magnets, but I gotta find a better way to wipe all that chicken sh"" off my car when the show is over.
Why do we drive on parkways and park on driveways?

A bunch of old cars
Sometimes they run.
Sometimes, they don't.

More often than not, when we are out in a T, we will get more comments and questions from younger girls or ladies than guys. I sometimes wonder if the guys are shy to ask a questions. But if a guy is with a gal when the answer is given, he’s paying attention too! And the gals always want to go for a ride!

One of the funniest things to ever happen with my T, was about 10 years ago at a car show, this dearest elderly lady came up and had a look at my Model T, then she asked me "Have you had it from new?" .... I was 26 years old at the time... not realising she was actually being serious, I cheekily replied, "Oh yes, I turn 110 years old next month!"
