Greg;
Click on the pencil thing over to the right, that will open the edit window. You can then add sold to the listing title, submit and will not bump the post up.

I know the voices aren't real but damn they have some good ideas!

I don't think it really matters if you delete it or not. You put sold in the description, so we know it's not for sale anymore

Re: 1911-12 Brassworks Radiator
You can't delete a posting once its been responded to. But instead of posting another entry against it to say its sold (that causes your FS to go to the top of the classified list getting attention again).
The simple way is to edit your posting (delete it or add//correct text) ot add another photo (no more than 5 photos per single post) as shown below.
You need to be logged in. Find you post quickly by using QUICK LINKS - click on YOUR POSTS to get a list of all posts that you made or responded to. You'll need to scroll down to the specific entry you wan to modify
-- --
When you find the specific entry you want to delete or correct - click on the pencil icon. A screen is returned with that entry for modification
-- --
--
Now you have options to DELETE or correct text - when done you can view by clicking on PREVIEW and when satisfied clicking on SUBMIT. This method does not cause the specific posting to go to the top of the classified list by retains it in its current position. This helps to keep the top of the list clean with new entries
--
If you want to try and DELETE it just check the box and then click on submit: A screen will be returned either to say you can't delete it or why you want to delete it. Upon confirmation to delete you need to SUBMIT it on that page.
The past is a great place and I don't want to erase it or to regret it, but I don't want to be its prisoner either.
