1927 Gas filter

Post by Inthegarage » Fri Mar 29, 2024 9:27 am

I ordered a gas filter from one of the suppliers https://www.modeltford.com/item/2903CSC.aspx
And by my surprise they are back ordered. Does anyone know of a filter that is a replacement. I really don’t want to cut up the fuel line and install a inline filter.

Snyder’s www.snydersantiqueauto.com, carries the delicate screen type gas filter for the original 1926-‘27 fuel sediment valve, part #9155-RK. It is listed in the Model A section but fits the 1926-‘27 fuel sediment valve. I don’t install the spring as it fits perfectly without it. Jim Patrick

Oops… Did you call them? Sometimes it takes vendors awhile to get around to updating their websites. You can also ask them to put you on a call list whenever the item comes in. Jim Patrick

Tam’s and Bert’s are two more Model A suppliers to consider

I already sent Mr. Mosher an email but I thought that I would mention a part supplier that is probably on none of y'alls radar. Over in Unicoi, Tennessee is a Model A parts store. It has been there forever and he doesn't do anything online. Does primarily deal with Model A but he does have some T stuff stored away.
Anyway, the store is called Model A Mac's and the telephone number is (423) 743-5085. I don't think that he texts so you probably should call. He is a great guy and really knows his stuff.

God Bless and Happy Easter!

Thanks
