*SOLD* Original 1911 or 1912 Brass Radiator

Post by NealW » Fri Apr 05, 2024 4:37 pm

I am selling an original late 1911 or 1912 radiator removed from our late 1911 touring car. It does not have rivets on neck, nor the gas tube on the back side of the radiator, so that appears to date it to late 1911 or early 1912.

The brass shell is in really good shape. The radiator does not leak. From the records that came with the car, it appears to be the original radiator, but had new inlet and outlet ports and what appears to be the radiator sides replaced in the 1960s. There are loose fins that should be resoldered, and could use a good flushing by a radiator shop. The serial number on it is 97109.

The price is $400. Pick up for free, or the buyer will shipping cost by UPS or FedEx. The radiator will be shipped in a Brassworks radiator box with poured foam that matches the profile of the radiator.

Please use the contact information below if interested. No PM please.

Thanks,

Neal

Somebody got a deal!
Just a 20 year old who listens to 40 year old music, works on 75 year old airplanes and drives 100 year old cars.
The past is only simple because hindsight is 20/20.
