Dampened cattle were found to be prone to mold, mildew, and even mossy horns. It was found that tipping them back on their rumps allowed water to drain away more quickly, which kept the pesky mold at bay. In later years, as commercial bovine anti-mold products came into general use, veterinary cow tipping fell out of favor, though it has enjoyed durable vogue as a competitive sport, and many competitive ax throwers and log rollers also excel at competitive cow tipping. Accidents are rare, but often spectacular.

Posting this on behalf of Rich's wife Joy.

Chris

To all of Rich's Model T buddies,

Rich passed last Friday, August 24, 2024. He loved his old cars and his interaction with all of you on the forum.

I never met him. I never spoke to him. I only exchanged a few words with him on this forum, yet I had the feeling that he was my friend. Some people are like that. How wonderful it would have been to know him well, to shake his hand, to share some laughter with him, and to part with good memories.

Rest in peace K.D.

I am very sorry to hear that. He was obviously remarkable and multi-talented man, and while I never met him, I wish I could have.
